It allows me to paint vivid pictures with words, set scenes with chords, drums, piano, and create an ambiance that immediately communicates my emotions and intentions.

Through soundscapes, I offer listeners an escape, laughter, motivation, and thoughts to ponder.

I believe that some stories can only be told through song, as music eliminates the need for the reader to find the pacing on the page; I set the tempo for them. Playing with words is one of my favorite things to do. On paper, the reader activates the words. But with music, I activate the words for the listener. The tone, rhythms, delivery, and breath patterns are immediately recognized.

Expressing my thoughts, sharing moments of my life, and revealing my emotions are my primary goals. I never envisioned myself in the music business, though I've performed many shows and shared my music publicly.

Ultimately, my music is for me and the worlds that I build. I create what I want to hear, assuming other musicians are too busy to make it for me, I just make it myself.

Some days, I just go to the studio and rap; music is my golf, an expensive ass hobby.

Music is the soundtrack to our lives. A song can transport us back to a moment, place, day, person, or memory. As the song plays, more details come back, each beat knocking things into place until the memory is as vivid as if it were happening now.

The music I make is a scrapbook created through a collage of sounds, words, beats, friends, and instruments, allowing me to revisit moments in a way that pictures, text, or videos cannot.

Some of my songs are incomplete art pieces, fragments of bigger ideas, masterpieces, or flawed in numerous ways. They cover a range of themes: love, fatherhood, brotherhood, husbandhood, activism and spirituality. They celebrate life with flashbacks to vacations, championships, happy moments, cherished experiences—and sometimes I'm just stunting on niggas.

Some songs will make you want to dance; others will make you want to sit under a tree and just be.

Each song is different but all are versions of me.
